Servicing and warranty question.

I havent actually got my smart yet, but reading on here and other forums it seems a safe bet to use an independant rather than a mercedes dealer
I would use either smartarse or wellsmart as they are my nearest, I see on wellsmarts site they say it doesnt affect the warranty, so Im assuming all independant specialists might be the same?
Must admit Im liking the things Ive read re wellsmart.

correct, any (vat registered I believe) garage can do the work, and the warranty remain intact.
AFAIK this doesn't apply to extended warranties or service agreements.

As long as genuine parts are used where necessary.

Extended warranties are a grey area, check the small print!
