  • 28k Roadie had B service at 21k - what now?

As it says in the title, my 56 reg roadster is approaching 28k, which would normally be a B service (or C, if you believe in such things).

However, a certain scottish dealership did an A service at 14k, so when I went elsewhere at 21k I asked them to do a B service, to make sure the plugs got changed.

So what should I do now? A? C?, A with C but not plugs? Brake fluid?

    Suggestions greatfully received.

Should be an A then next should be a C if I remember rightly

It goes A-B-A-B (the C service was removed from the schedule according to the dealer when i bought my car 5 years ago, and nowhere i've been since has any knowledge of a C).

Oh and the plug change became optional on a B (the only difference that makes is you get charged seperately if you go to a dealer, so its not in with the basic price...)

Just go the A,B,A,B,A,B route (but plugs on every B **) and in addition:...

Brake fluid should be swilled through every 2-3 years max really, same as the coolant should also be changed ideally at the same interval. (and a fuel filter)

** not to be confused with Buttplugs

The "C" basically means fuel filter, iirc. On an unmapped car I'd go A next, then get the filter done the B afterwards.

Think I'll go with that option!
Immediately after the road trip round the Hebrides and Thurso
