Squeaking front end

Hello, I'm a newbie on here, my smart is squeaking at the front, my better half thinks it's probably the bushes but we need the relevant exploded diagram from the w/shop manual--has anyone got one? my car is a 2000 coupe.

Is it just one side and does it constantly happen? Quite often the front springs tend to break which can cause a sqeaking sound.

A Y2K car won't have mcpherson springs at the front, they have a leaf spring arrangement. It's more likely to be the bushes.
