I look after mine and am assisting on an engine swap on a BMW 535i

Hmmm

My thoughts. Through my life I have tended not to tinker with cars and allow professionals to do servicing and repairs.

I have found that it can be that tinkerers often have troubles with their cars.

If your pride and joy is a Cabrio I would recommend treating the fabric,
grease the rails, silicon grease on the seals etc
