451 Mirror Removal.... help!!!

Hey all,
I've been faffing about outside now for ages trying to get the manual leaver clip fro the plastic fixture, as per photo from evilution:

On the site it ust saying press in where its marked it and will come out... how hard do you have to press because it wont come out!!!

You do either push it or get a little screwdriver under and lift it. Don't remember which. Also try and take tension off it, that helps.

Thank you SO much, I was about to start crying haha, anyways yeah I did it now, had to lift it not bloody push it!!!
Just need to buy some torx screwdrivers now for the silly lock side, my torz bits dont fit in the little hole :-(, I'll get there one day!!!

I was close! clarity of the information was obviously lost between the workshop and the office. Or, more usually, I do something, take pictures and then take months to actually write it up. In which time I have forgotten socket sizes, torx size, fixings and clips.

However, you should have been able to see it needed lifting just by looking at it. I guess you are one of those people who'd drive off a cliff because the sat nav told him to LOL. As for reposting a copyrighted picture without consent, that's a bit naughty.
