    hi i'me new to this site but i have a question for someone . i have a 2000 four two & my terbo stoped working today does anyone know why ? she is old & verry week without it , what can i do ?

    can you give us some more info??

    have you just lots power??

    any lights on the dash??

    have you checked all the pipework for the turbo??

      before ms poo pops up, i thought id correct a couple of things you have said mikeee.
      its tURbo, not tERbo
      and its FORtwo, not FOURtwo
      and its Prob not Brob

        I'd have a look at this:


        It's a very common and cheap fix (50p clip)

        If you'd rather take it to a garage, try Westbourne Motors in Hove. They just deal with smarts and should be quite local to you.

          To the OP, the turbos are prone to fail. If she's on the original turbo, there's a strong chance the manifold has cracked. Ultimately, this means a new turbo I'm afraid

                Hmmmm i wonder....our next door neighbours smart is having what sounds likme similar problem...wonder if this will help them too....although their smart is currently at local garage.

                  SX Cars are more of a indi specialist than westbourne motors, W/B motors are more of a breakdown firm dabbling in smart repairs...:goodlk:
