lotus style rear ventury

has anyone made fiber glass defuser like the lotus elise or exeige?

just from the suroundings of the rear pipes.

I know Ferrina made one for his ForFour, but out of aluminium I think.

for what vehicle?

both of those cars are forfour's

ferrina's is actually a lotus diffuser modified to fit (think its been removed now)

is this for aesthetics or function?

just thought on the back of a roadster would look quite menasin.
was looking at split defuser.

more for looks but also think it would pull hot air around the exhaust pipe/back box. reducing engine bay heat!

I've got an Elise diffuser on mine...


but that coz I've got an Elise.
Not sure how you would fit one to a Roadie though.

Would be interesting to see one on. Think it would prob look cool, most things do on a Roadie but not all.
How's your exhaust now Ian? Think I've got to get a new one on mine, some dick reversed into the tail pipe and bent it, pushed it all the way back into the heat sheild, no other damage fortunately.

Definately functional - I use mine to get the back end covered uniformly in mud:frown:

Mate, I have given up on ever getting that new tail pipe fitted...,

was ready just before France last year & TBH I can't see Scott getting round to it before France this year

poor old roadie has not moved off the drive for about 5 weeks as I have been that busy with work & things.......and then when I do get chance to go anywhere it seems to have been the blade just lately!! :redface:
