Dump Valve Can it save MPG

I have heard there is a possibility that a Dump Valve fitted to a 700cc Fortwo is able to help save flue-MPG.

Is there any truth in this and if so would you suggest a certain type of DV i should Purches (not one that will Blow up my little engine please ?

Most people in the know suggest fitting a dump valve to the suprex engine is a "bad idea".
People still do though - mainly for the "sneeze" sound - not heard of anyone doing it to improve economy.

No, it just makes a noise.

I've got a Forge DV, not fitted though. Can't decide whether to refit or not.

I'm not one of those people who perpetuates the myth that all DVs are bad for smarts however, it will not increase MOG.
