Has anyone changed a starter motor on a forfour 1.5 cdi 54 plate at home and if so how hard is it to do

might be worth asking on forfour.co.uk

someone there must have replaced one... i know someone replace there starter on there petrol 1.5

Not a guide on the cdi one but there is one for the petrol .... Normally 2 bolts and 2 connectors.

And someone will help anyway
