Friday 9th of august
Start the journey.
From Leeuwarden (north of the Netherlands) to Hoek van Holland (125 miles)
We take the ferry (Hoek van Holland) and arrive in the UK (Harwich).

Saturday 10th of august
Then drive from Harwich to Watford.
Tony (tune4performance)'s programming;

Smart do not offer an cruise (spelling) control option as a retrofit, so you have to use an aftermarket solution like MDC's cruise control, we (smartmods) sold about 10 of these to people in the UK and we had over 6 back due to issues with the units (mainly the internal wiring) - Rob *CAN* get them and fit them - but until MDC actually make units that actually work we wont sell them, not worth our time or the time of our customers and clients.

I wouldn't go anywhere else, Rob and Tony are always so helpful.

I've used other Smart indies in the past but would not revisit them after dealing with Rob.

S2smarts are head and shoulders above anyone else in the smart world, Rob's dedication puts all other Smart indies to shame

I've had a 450 passion, 450 Diesel and a roadster. Rob fixed issues with my passion undoing the shoddy modifications from a previous Indy. Both the passion and roadster were highly modified and were fantastic by the time I sold them, I still miss the roadster terribly and the passion was a pocket rocket. The diesel was a loyal workhorse and reliable.

I'll have to visit Rob and Tony again some day as I miss the friendliness and dedication they have to these little cars. Unfortunately I no longer have a smart but, you never know, a new incarnation of a roadster may tempt me.

How did you get on with your journey? My wife and I had our honeymoon based on Zelzate, Belgium, and drove all over Belgium and Netherlands - it's so nice to drive out there. Really puts the bad driving of people over here to shame!

On topic - S2 have looked after my car for the 2 1/2 years I've owned it, and I've always been happy with the quality of their work and their prices. They're nice guys too, sometimes I just pop down for a quick chat when I want to book my car in, rather than do it over the phone. Rob is very knowledgable of our cars, he's not just another mechanic who kinda knows sorta what he's doing.

Now I moved from 20 mins to 40 mins from their place, I still make the time to head over.

Another thumbs up for Rob and S2Smarts!

He has looked after my Roadster for the last 8 years, and done a sterling job with good advice and always a friendly chat.
Unfortunately, I have now left the Roadster fold after owning mine for over 9 years! I find that having to limbo dance to get in and out at my age is not good for my back!

driving in the UK wasn't a problem.
I've a friend (comes original from Londen) of mine , he was the co-pilot.
