Purchased 05 Smart Passion from Nick
Pretty helpful/friendly in person and when you can reach him on the phone
Only prob was it took the accounting section 7 days to clear a bank check which held up delivery

yep i vouch that nick in sales is very good. sadly their service is apauling in my opinion and they never phone you back!

Saw them today for the first time.
They were fab. Checked the car over and advisied that next service was due in 2800 miles at 13k. No charge for the inspection.

I think they're fabulous there, Nick is great and Charlie was also really helpful...picking up my Smart and driving it home on the motorway was my first solo drive since passing my test 3 days earlier, and Charlie agreed to come in the car with me and have someone else follow behind in his car so he could the go back to the Smart centre. He really went out of his way for me...I totally recommend Smart of Lakeside!:smile:

We bought our 06 smart 4/2 from Lakeside, Nick agreed 2 beat an internet price, so we ended up with an all black passion, it was a pre reg. smart + us, £7088.00

Just had the 13,500 B service at Lakeside.£370 which I thought a bit steep.

I had to dash so I paid and have only just looked at the invoice.

Detailed breakdown:-
Oil filter and oil £48
Wiper blade £14
*Washer concentrate £3
Spark plugs £28
**Advance formula Motor £18 !!!!????

* this was an interesting one as I had filled up the washer bottle two days ago!

** any idea what this is?

I needed a new sump gasket. The one they ordered was faulty. It was patched up and they charged me £8 for a litre of oil to keep in the car in case I needed it!

Labour was
£120 for B service
£68 for changing spark plugs.

....and get this....£8 labour for changing the battery on the key fob.:censor:

Booked in next tuesday for drivers side mirror leak to be fixed. They will have the car for a week as i'm going on holiday. Will let you all know how I get on.
