I did post this on the other thread, but posting here to save any confusion.

I've booked the ferries both ways....Portsmouth to Caen going out on Sat 18th and Dunkerque to Dover on the way back on the 27th. (Also booked Docklands hotel for smarttimes gig.)

Arriving in Caen just after 3pm, so will be arriving at chez Miami at teatime, bar any unforseen delays.

Time is getting on so I have started to buy the Michelin maps for the route......

You know, MAPS - those things that mean you can ignore the SATNAV when it tries to take you down a cart track or through a factory unit.

Also, I am thinking we have Sunday, Monday and Tuesday to sort out and then setting off to Belgium on the Wednesday or is it Thursday. Of course, sitting around on the hammocks in the field drinking wine is always an option -a bit of car polishing too I suppose...

It is Sunday to Thursday at the house - I know cos I checked!
I want to organise a tour around the Suisse Normandie, Sunday party with the Local AngloFrench Car club, Treasure Hunt but NOT a trip across the Bay of Mont Saint Michel due to the dangerous dogs.

That walk across the bay was brilliant apart from the dog and David's feet. Best way the see Mont Saint-Michel IMO.
