Getting them so hot in normal day to day use, is just wasting energy:wag:

I'd need a pic of them on the car in context to really judge. Not a bad idea though.
As to the mitsubishi thing - I think Mr Palmer's several-month-long flounce may make that one pop up more often than it would have otherwise. You drive a mitsubishi, I drive a canoe, and they drive toasters. So it goes.
