I remember the Miami Gulf Fortwo on my first L2B run in 2003. No roadsters were modded back then.

Wish I had seen that car- heard it got totalled in France.

I remember seeing it , loved it , also think yours looks very good ..... loved the original GT40 in Gulf colours .

It's because it doesn't support the slating of the forfour!! Sensible development process = non smart

Many many many manufacturers share platform development costs as the Market is just far too competitive now and that's why smart are also doing it. The fortwo platform couldn't be developed with anyone else as it was worked up by an external company and then pitched to a number of car manufacturers! Then they modified the chasis a bit for the roadster so negligable development costs there!

It has to be done right though - I would say that MG Rover became too reliant on it with Honda and multiple others and when no one was interested any more, they started buying instead - e.g. Qvale Mangusta and the Tata city car piece of ****!

The 75, mini and MGF were all great platforms though!!

me thinks i would have been dead by now if i had!
the forfour is a Smart. it says it in several paces in and on the car aswell as on the V5!

No worries! I am also writing a letter to mitsubishi head office as I took the BRAB to my local Mitsubishi dealer and they treated mr like a piece of **** telling me they had no idea about my car, none of their parts would fit and that I was crazy....

.....but I told them that everyone told me that it was a Mitsubishi and they said they would look into it

I would love to own a crossblade (always on the lookout), I would also love a 451 cdi, already owned a highly modded 450 and I am enjoying owning a forfour and running the worlds best technical info site on the car! Don't think I would ever own a roadster but I still love the look of them! If I owned all of them at the same time, I wouldn't grade them in smartness though - I'd love them all
