I like that solution!!....Drive on the pavement!!

The red reflector comments....ie so you have to park 'nose in' are only valid after dark I think.......
But yes...all bikes park at 90 deg, back into kerb...so they can ride out (and if there is a camber on the road, you can't park a bike forward on a side stand because it may roll off it!!)......but their tax disc is usually mounted on the side, so can be seen from kerb, and they don't normally have to pay for parking!
