    If you do find a way to plop on a turbo on a MHD id be interested in doing the same to my GB-10, lets get the engine to do some work,

      and what do you mean by lets get the engine to do some work? its already 'working' as its having to lug the shell of the car and everything within it!

            it might be working, just not hard enough in my book, got to be looking at 150bhp, based on what a 700cc smart engine is capable of

              Lol, grow up. What exactly do I gain from lying about my fuel economy? If you can get 51mpg then why do you think it's so outrageous that I can get 10mpg more, it's not that much. Before using the standard cruise control and the economic driving speeds and tricks I would get about 46mpg.

              I didn't answer because I didn't see the question.

              Instantaneous figures mean nothing, you can get 99mpg, 255mph or 999mpg depending on what sort of gauge you are using just by coasting.

              The figures were mainly calculated by brimming, running right down and then brimming again. A few occasions I did the same calcs but had only done hundred miles or so. Best brim to brim I got was 59mpg, best 100 mile run was 61mpg.

              Adding the 17" alloys destroyed the MPG though so I stopped counting.

              I have a pipercross air filter, Denso IXUH22 plugs, brabus exhaust and a remap.
