Smart Fortwo 2007 model 451 can’t unlock the door

My car battery is dead, my doors are locked.Using the Fob I can’t open the door and manually inserting the key into the door I can’t open it. What is the solution?

Open the rear hatch with your key, reach through & pull the door handle.
That's what you do on the 450, so i'm assuming the 451 is similar.

You can connect 12 volt battery to power one of the side door central locking motors. Remove bonnet to access wiring loom.

It is amazingly easy to break into a Smart 451. Makes you wonder why the designers made it possible to release bonnet from outside the car's cabin.
