Thanks Rick, most eloquently put !
Versus changing motorcycle tyres at over a hundred £,s every 3000 mls a clutch every 40,000 is an insignificant amount against say buying a coffee every day from a major coffee provider !! You get more value out of the clutch !!

      Re: Clutch actuator adjustment

Thanks all for the help i've done over 100 miles now and no slip I still don't understand the revs though it still holds to around 5000 in some gears I know its a Brabus but it does seem high and you look a bit like an old granny on the clutch in the high street you just have to change manualy.
      Thanks again

then 53,000 miles is excellent wear from it.
As a side note, mine must be doing well at 6 years/90,000 miles on the original clutch, clutch actuator and engine.

            Re: Clutch actuator adjustment

If you disconnect the battery, it will reset the ECU to learning mode and if you drive in manual and change up at lower revs, it will learn that's how you drive and when you drive in auto it will still change up at higher revs, but they shouldn't be as high!

Thanks i will give that a try at some point. I have a dodgy right arm that doesnt work as it should and just at this time its stopped working all together again so will have to stay in auto and back to using steering knob on the wheel again which will no doubt kill another set of front tires but god you can have fun with 90 degree bends
