      When I visit, it shows that I'm not logged in (despite clicking 'Remember Me' on a previous login).

      If I login again, the page says I'm still not logged in... but, if I click on 'What's New?' my username suddenly appears when the page refreshes and I'm then logged in.

      Firefox 7.0.1.

        I've just noticed the same thing on Firefox. All ok on Safari.

              Looks like it works on Chrome & Safari, and not IE or Firefox (all the time)

              I am looking into this and will keep you updated.
              Sorry in advance

                some new user titles were added - they change depending on thread counter - much better than standard member!

                    you shouldn't be able to see that... it is pointing to the old forum, where did you even find that link?!!

                    if you deleted the "/forums" from the middle of it, it should work... http://www.smartmaniacs.co.uk/showthread.php?31780

                    In retrospect, I suppose "supercalafragalisticexpialadocious" wasn't a great "safe word..."

                        Thanks for letting us know... seemingly I've still got logging in issues whilst using the alternative URLs, so not quite all ironed out, but getting there!!!

                          ok - now i am back home i am unable to access the site unless through a proxy server.....

                          must be something to do with my IP address

                          any thoughts??

                                Nice
                                Seriously though, the Proxy will store certain files won't it? to speed up page loading etc.

                                So can you clean out all of the temp files, and indeed flush the dns (I wasn't joking).
                                start --> Run --> ipconfig /flushdns

                                try that.
