Apologies one of my children has used my computer to download some video stuff for a college project, cleaned, scanned and updated without finding anything three times but the adverts keep cropping up.
So annoyed because they know not to use my laptop because I use it for work and they have three other computers between them !
UPDATE : Well it was the first and hopefully the last virus in over ten years ! I am very careful online and only go on a few regular known websites, so when the adverts appeared on this website after the re-vamp I added two and two together and got five ! It was malware called "Re-Markable" which wasn't picked up by normally very effective virus software. Work turned out not to be too bothered about the issue, the Geek said that it happens all the time particularly on open wi-fi. All cleaned scanned and some sort of Malware specific programme added.
Once again please accept my humble apologies.
PS : Does anyone want to buy a teenage who has had her fingers chopped off ???
Since the upgrade it has been a nightmare using the site. I normally view using tapatalk but got locked out, had to reset password twice, cant see "unread" posts and cannot see photos within posts. Also i cannot post at all as i am not authorised. Not sure if this is all due to maniacs update or tapatalk. Would be grateful for any thoughts. Thanks

Im still trying to figure whats the issue with TapaTalk not working.
There is a mobile theme on the site which is easier to see and should automatically load when you go to the forum on your mobile.
As i say, im trying to figure the issue with tapatalk.

So the mobile site is here to stay and I can't stop it? It's fine for simple posting like this (just about) but not for lots of other things like viewing pics as you can't zoom in and out I use my mobile device 90% of the time for viewing the forum and a mobile version just isn't ideal. JJ
The mobile version is whats classed as responsive wed design.
So it sees that its a mobile being used and slims everything down to save data/screenspace etc.
Ill see of there is anyway to have a full screen version /link

Just a note to everyone really , it is only myself and David working through these nuances as best and as quick as we can (and alongside our 'actual' jobs too!!), but please at least give us a chance to review the options before assuming that something can't be done!.
In retrospect, I suppose "supercalafragalisticexpialadocious" wasn't a great "safe word..."
I've started a 'cut-down' view of the site for those who use low resolution screens, zoomed in webpages, or on mobile.
In the template selector at the very bottom of the screen, click that and choose 'mobile', and let me know what that looks like for starters.
