You tell them right from the start this car does not carry a spare tyre. (I mean when you are phoning around - if they go silent don't take their cover up)
I told them that Smart Cars dont come with a spare tyre as standard, they said they knew that but that i had to have a tyre repair kit or the policy was invalid.
