After getting locked in my Roadster I took my car to smartsRus.
They identified the *common* problem of a dropped locking pin
(it wiggles up and then the latch stops working
)
Anyway smartsRus kindly sorted it out for me AND let me take these pictures....Cheers Guys!
Fixing a "dropped pin" on a Roadster Door Lock
1) Remove door handle cover & uncrew the handle from the door card

2) From the top left corner prise away the door card until you can get to the locking mechanism.
Don't prise the whole door card off it's a bugger to get back in!

3) CHECK that it is the swivel pin causing the problem (it it is the pins top will be visible). If it is then unhook the door cable.

4) Make sure the door pin is lined up with the hole at the bottom and move it down with pliers.

5)Using a screwdriver push the top of the pin down until its almost flush.

Finally check the door mechanism works, re-connect the door cable and pop the door card & handle back in place..
