  • Changing "left" flasher parking light unit

    Problem!

    Solution

This how to is only for changing the left flasher/parking light unit. (On a left hand drive Roadster) The right hand one is much worse

Remove the bin from the luggage department.
Remove the parking and flasher bulbs and get the wires out of the way.

Remove the 2 retaining screws holding the unit. Side mount

    Lower mount,

    Remove the horn

Loosen the front of the inner wheel lining.

Now You can flex the inner wheel lining enough to get the unit into the luggage compartment.

Install in reverse order as allways

    Job done

This is how the plastics under the front should look like when You are ready.

    It could be cleaner!

Is your car now not going to look a bit silly considering you have 2 different types of lights fitted now?
The side lights aren't in the same position.

I thought I might comment on that.
The thing is that it happend on the black car (Lilla Svarten) and we had allready desided to exibit it so I changed the unit from one car to the other and then realised that they were different. So it has been looking silly for a while (like this)

          but it is better now.
