gearbox fault, good old 3 lines ahhhhhh

heres one for you, got a 51 fortwo passion, 3 lines on the dash, connect the star to find out why, nothing showing on the faults in any of the meg/zee, when you turn on the ignition the clutch actuator does nothing, so ive replaced the clutch actuator that i know works, i try to teach the gearbox which obviously fails,i try to teach the clutch biting point but it fails, what do the 6 wires do on the actuator, i know the biggest pair are power for the motor, but what do the other 4 do???oh and how do i diagnose whats at fault, cheers guys

check that wiring for internal faults/breaks , use a test lamp for this preferably, you've already proved the actuator on now is okay.

The other wires are for the fine adjust/feedback afaik.

Your star with Das gives you what should and shouldn't give power and when

Hi look at the fuse box under the passengers seat it probably has green coroded terminals or possible fuse blown !

Fudge sorted mine out
Found some rubbish wires somewhere in the system.......

Just realised the orig post was November.......I hope they have it sorted
