It's a curious trip this year as I believe we are arriving in ones and twos between wednesday 16th
and saturday 19th - makes a change from the tubes of the past.

I'm quite looking forward to meeting up with the french, though lazing round Normandy
for a week definately has its charms

What is L'Autre Cafe then chaps? Don't forget I've not been before...
What other places have you all in mind in visiting during our stay?

A mad cafe on the edge of a lake it the middle of nowhere. An odd place with a great feel to it.

I couldn't think of a more apt description, but even that doesn't quite do it justice.
It's almost obligatory you go....

As for other places to visit, The castle at Fougeres and/or Mont St Michel must come
high on the list.

Though there are several local gems as well.

Well, we should be docking in St Malo about 8am on the Friday (17th) and I would guess it'll take us about an hour to get there. So arrange to meet about 10am?

Incidentally, are Ian and Anne contactable at all? I've tried calling them but haven't had any success.
