CF's kit was a custom over-sized front and rear set costing £1800.
The company that made them is 1 minute walk from my house.
I will eventually do a fitting guide for these kits on my site including a price and place of purchase for a standard size rear brake disc kit.
Not sure from the photo that they have retained the original drum for the handbrake, only adding the disc between the drum and wheel? Then it's just a calliper hanger and a pipe re-route - simple!
I want to do away with the drum and back plate altogether and use a combined brake/handbrake calliper from a Ford Focus. Much lighter and the inertia resistance is reduced.
Looking forward to your fitting guide for more pictures.
I can confirm having looked at the setup yesterday (fudge and i have looked thoroughly!) there is no drum behind that mahoosive disk, the handbrake is a cable affare and works with the caliper (or as part of it!) it looks very impressive and simple too!!!!
Is there a brake bias adjustment? I'd hate to think in an emergency, the back end tries to lock up, making the car unstable? I know the ABS kicks in. Good for handbrake turns though!!
I didn't get a chance to "fully" examine the set up, but as I've posted it looks impressive and simple to fit, there must be some kind of bias adjuster? isn't there?
