Do u mean no bass when fitted or open like your pic, if pic don't worry to much, if fitted then I would advise adding sound deadening like silent oat between the speaker and door and around the door.
U will not get alot of bass from these as the crossover will limit it as u will have a sub which will play the sub frequencies
No here not fitted as I wanted to test them first before the hard challenge of putting them in the doors ! So you think it might just be where it's not in the door yet it's quite a bit difference fro the normal ones to them thou !

The user manual for the Head unit will tell you how to access all the different menus settings. If you have got a user manual, go to the manufactures web site and download a copy.
Take the earth lead off, have another go at scraping back to bare metal. Use fine emery cloth and also scrape the eyelet (both sides).
The correct + and - minus they are talking about is not the main power to the head unit or the Amp but the polarity of the speaker connections. (Speakers have a + and a - marked on the connectors)
Are you sure the Amp is powering up? It should have a LED that shows when it is on. What is your Amp powering? Just a Sub speaker or Sub and full range / Mid range speakers?
Maybe the Head unit has a setting which turns on the SUb output? This is why you need the user manual.
John
Well I don't have the user manual so I'll try search for it online I guess and ok I'll have a another go in grounding it there ! Was going to say how will if go about grounding it on the engine wall or what that's called just about the hand break bit ?
And yes I have just gone through the speaker wires as on the tweeters and door speakers I got have + and - on them so as far as I'm aware they are correct.
The amp has a light on it soon as power goes to it it's red then when it done it's check it goes bright white so as I'm aware it's powering up and powering focal tweeters and haven't got a sub yet sorry not sure what they called ie: quote Just a Sub speaker or Sub and full range / Mid range speakers?
And I'll have to try look up how to set up the radio then maybe just wired that I got sound out of them just not really a lot bass and the don't seem to working fully !

I would check the earth again and make sure it's a good connection.
Leave the speaker wire but leave speaker part of connection unplugged from head unit
Make sure you have + and - correct way fitted
As for bass what setting do u have on your amp and head unit and how did u set the gains?
Well I did it off the seat bolt and scrapped away to bear metal, this not good enough then
And is that just that whole block? Is speaker then ?
And I believe I have done the + and - properly through out the system !
That was what I got told you just have to sort out the system with messing with all the buttons now but I haven't got the foggiest idea on we're to start !
Cool cheers well going to be doing it after work today so hopefully when thats all done all it will be is the door speakers
That's going to be, drill the hole through the wing metal wall grommet it wire through thread it to the door speaker and that's if it's a straight fit !
Ok thanks for the info guys I might aswell solder then as I do have a soldering kit ;-) so that will be ok to solder it then some electrical tape round it to finish it off !
