You get a much better contact from wire to connector with solder than the usual gash bullet connector via crimping as they generally are a rough squashing of the body onto the wires (unlike a well designed crimped terminal and associated tool) and often the wire can pull out of the contact when someone doesn't crimp them properly (ie tired girly hands etc

But there again someone maybe gash at soldering too? and bullets are generally designed to be crimped not soldered


Much better than twisted together and covered in tape though!
