i only realised that i had bought one after my heart handed over the swith card.

they are funky individual and a real slap in the face to city parkers when you do the perpendicular parking thing... do you think thst they would add this to your driving test if you took it in a smart

It's funny some of you guys mentioning Beetles!!

I bought mnyself a 1972 Beetle when I made the decision to go to University. I drove it from Pontefract up to Leeds, and took a back route to Harrogate and finally York before returning home. A really good run out.

It broke down three times!

A week later I bought my Passion. They seem to be connected somehow, I think they're really funky and classless - just like Beetles have become.

Anyone for an old blue Beetle parked at the bottom of my drive going cheap??

seem to have a passion for fun cars - hate to admit it but was the owner of 2CV's excellent in the summer but bloody cold in the winter as you depended on the heat of the engine filtering through to the car no such thing as heated screens/rear windows etc had two, a red and white dolly and an all white which my partner, to his disgust, I conned into painting assorted black spots on and as you can guess called it Spot !! tried the MGF and hated it then went onto a Honda CRX loved that-saw the Roadster and was very keen and also looked at the Diahtsu Copen but luckily the Roadster won

I bought my smart after about 8 months of constant nagging from jumpwenis. Just gave in one evening and ended up driving 500miles to get one

Took that long huh?

Jumpi must be slipping.

Was you at the recent Swindon meet?

That's pretty much what happened to me, how do they do that? One minute I was standing in the Smartcentre with my other half and his brother, who was picking up his Passion, and the next minute (well, after a quick test drive) I had been completely seduced and I was signing on the dotted line for one of my own. I've had a big grin on my face ever since

Should be picking it up on Thursday - the wait is driving me crazy.

I wanted one from the first time I saw them in Munich ( I also saw the tower of smarts on that holiday)
Being a small car person (previously Mini's)and a gadget freak I had to have one. I love the reaction I get from friends - some love it some hate it but everyone has an opinion.

My only regret is that I waited so long before I got one, it makes me smile every time I drive it
