My first was bought cos of logic - the bus services got cut , too far for the pushbike in winter, and there was very little parking space in the middle of town... but since then the office has moved out of town and logic disappeared so bought my cabbie!

Agreed, they are the king of gadgets. i love the "high-techness" oh yeah and it really upsets people in their big silly cars seeing a smartie fly past em!

Wanted something different, with character.
I love the noise of the engine, that won me over during the test drive... Then came the handling, paddleshift etc, it's just great fun! Luvvit!

well i needed a smaller economical car and more importantly i was fed up with being everyone's taxi driver.

I'd wanted one for ages before my hubby gave in......... we comprised on bay grey rather than sparkly pink.

I loved the enginering design of the Smart!
Soooooo clever, practical for its intended purpose,
but mostly just good fun!!

Luv my 4-2 Nightrun but would have a Roadster as well if I could justify MORE expense!! hahahaha

The fact that I spent the same amount of fuel in one week in my skyline as i did in a MONTH in the smart.

also the look on other turbo'd jap cars scoobies supras ETC when you go past them and they have the windows down and you set the dump valve off the look is like "eh WTF smart car? dump valve? TURBO?" its great cos on the 80 mile round trip i make each day the M25 features heavily so no one speeds so i just cruise along with thse other cars knowing i am doing the same speed as you and they have used maybe 2 gears to get to 70 and i have had the fun of 6 and flappy paddles.

spending £60 a week in petrol for my Volvo C70 T5 just wasnt worth it....i now spend less that this in a month!

Besides the car looks awesome!
