3 times, for inappropriate speed. Not been charged for any of the occasions, but entirely my fault.
Generally a very careful driver, but I seem to pick my mad moments to be at the wrong times/places!
In my defence, all of the occasions have been in good weather, daytime, and on clear roads/nopedestrians about. And all have only been a matterof 5-10mph over speed limit (although one occasion they argued that they had to do 100mph to make up the quarter mile between me and them - they were going other direction and had to turn around... Apparently that was proof that I was going nearly 100??? Actual speed 70 in a 60 limit)

been stopped once for doing miles over twice the posted speed limit begins with an 8...... in a residential area through some traffic lights (which were green). messed my pants for 5 mins while he called in number plates etc etc then he came round wrong side of car , corrected himself then proceeded to tell me off for ages had the humiliation of entire university minibus of friends going past shouting and waving at me while at side of road then blokey telling me that he had to break a ton to catch me but since he was the dog unit and had initially seen me from side on it was my lucky day and i was going to just be told off. up until this point id been pleased that new driving licenses were laminated it so he cud not literally tear it up. clearly the police in this instance were jusitifed in pulling me over and fortunatly found me not to be a hardened criminal just a young person rightly paying high insurance premiums. as a side not had to then spend 10 mins running over the car with him he was very interested in it and i was duely sent on my way a very happy chap

Landy i`m sorry but all your posts regarding this just qualify how little you understand about the law & our police forces, and i cant see any point in anybody attempting to explain it to you, Taffdan has done his best, but he has dealt with (and so have i) so many people with this attitude that we waste our time. you will never accept any explanation, because you are always right!!!!

If what you're saying is true. All leads in any case are not determined using any kind of phorensic eveidence, not determined by going over the surveillance videos (of which this country has a lot more than any other), not determined by a process of elimination and good investigative police work, instead our hard earned taxes are being used to pay a bunch of chancers???

    Tell me it's not true.
No not all leads are made by Bobbys aresting, but I would say that 90% of the work is done by arrest, this then opens up the case further. This information then allows US to locate where any possible CCTV is, take DNA and clothing samples from the offenders and their home addresses.

If you think we are a bunch of chancers come work for us.

Those who cant ***** and snipe, Those who can do.

And I stand by the fact I called you an idiot, you cant see past your nose and have no idea how things work so IDIOT
