If by Prestige you mean PCS (site sponsor) located in Portsmouth, then I've heard and read only the highest praise for their work.

I urge you to also search www.mbclub.co.uk for examples of PCS customer experiences.

Rose Chap - I did have a quick look in there but the last thing it says about Merc in Brizzle is that they moved for a while and have had a revamp. I will ask the mighty google and see if they can come up with any reviews for me, thanks for the idea!

Superstevie - Now you say it, it does sound like they've quoted for an A service..I shall do some more digging. Thanks!

I'm starting to lean away from Merc now I must say, but wither way - how will I know if they have done a proper service? Can I check anything afterwards? (I'm thinking will I be able to tell there's new spark plugs etc) Or should there be something on the bill? I love my Smart so much, I just want the very best for her!!!

You can't go after the paper - my non-existent air condition was ticked as "checked" on my last service report...
It's all about trust if you can't do it yourself.

Ollie at PCS has done quite a bit to my car. My last service was fab, the car actually ran better than it ever had thanks to Ollie.

He will make sure you little treasure is fab.

You're in for a bit of a surprise, it's £119 for an A service not a B service, that's £195 but it's still cheaper than Merc http://www.prestigecarservicing.com/smartservice.html

Including VAT it's £230 - so even worse...I'm going on what you guys have said rather than just the pennies though so I don't mind. Should be about £300 with the tyre and wiper arm
