If it helps my last B service at the local Merc came in at £280 in Newcastle, glad the dealer was paying and not me! They also returned the car to me the first time with the under tray hanging down and the clutch hadn't taken the Winstar settings so I got 0 quite a lot. They took it back in to fix that and lost the plastic wallet with the service history and operations manual in ... For the cost i'd take it to a specialist smart service outfit such as Wellsmart (£187 for a B), the idea of letting Prestige farm it out to whoever they have agreed will handle the work locally just doesn't do it for me on a smart, i've used them for a Merc before and they were OK but compared to the local Merc specialist who did the last service the car felt better and fuel consumption figures improved significantly.

Ahem, Prestige Car Service is a site supporter and they are ~10 miles N of Portsmouth... You must think on someone else, then...

Steve, as the Prestige Car Servicing I linked to has it's HO in Leicestershire (some 180+ miles away from Portsmouth) and offer a national service through approved agents for £119 for an A service i'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that the first post was based on that Prestige as the price and name tie in as well as having a local outfit to the lady in question and not driving from Bristol to Portsmouth (Some 120 miles) to the Prestige you are referring to ? Either way no-one bad mouthed either of the Prestige's and the other one wasn't being mentioned until you brought it up

The point is that Prestige Car Service in Horndean is a reputable company specialized in MB and smart and not to be confused with a company called Prestige Car Servicing which is just a broker for ~500 independent garages around the UK (and which can't spell roadster ).

Just for clarification, I am not linked to Wellsmart or Prestige Car Service. I only know that they have a good reputation amongst my fellow smart friends.
