What a coincidence. I used to be an alien, was issued with a green card and had to report to the aliens ofice in Aberdeen once a year. I remember there was a signboard affixed to the door saying "Aliens only!"

Sorry I do not know English grammar, I speak another language.
      10:45, you're xenophobic or ...?

Now ambient temperature is +10 degrees Celsius, more than 3 dots does not raise the temperature.

Just ignore 10:45. He hates aliens like us. He probably was gas chamber guard in Treblinka in his earlier life.

Today is sunny and 12 degrees! Yes, global warming and weather 'has taken on the plowing'.
Now am going to the thermostat previous refurbished. For this was I made two profiled washers (actually so we found) but the elbow (exit toward radiator) to adjusted to washer because not match

You mean you have adjusted seat of thermostat so your washers will seal better?.

Now reconstruct Wahler thermostat and washers will keep closed thermostat housing.
A washer does not fit , should be adjusted .

Apart from being cut open and held together with special flange plates and screws, what are the essential modifications to this Wahler?

                      I solved the match. https://plus.google.com/photos/11282...18205146693954
At this thermostat (Wahler) I want you to mount a bypass solenoid valve and bypass internal to cancel. https://plus.google.com/112827018205...18205146693954
Solenoid valve will operate as follows (in principle):
                      - From starting the engine up to 90 C - closed
                      - From 90C up to restart the engine - open.
                      - A button for enable (for maintenance ,eg change coolant)
But ' Something is rotten in the state of Denmark! ' ...

No need for that. My thermostat has no internal check valve nor any external manual by pass.

Something role has to have that valve.
                          What's that?

Already explained. See post 47, item 6.

Sorry, the translation sounds a bit different. I read again # 47.
From what I understand , the valve help ventilation.
On the other hand I found out that contributes to the equalization of pressures - less possibility of broken hoses and / or cracked fittings.

You are wrong there. Its only purpose is to ease bleeding air out of system when cooling system is being refilled.
For the petrol 450, a poor aftermarket pattern copy is now flooding the market. Being sold by lots of UK motor factors including Eurocarparts and Carparts4less. This thermostat has the check valve fitted wrong way. Bleeding air becomes tricky and engine will take a very long time getting up to operating temperature because check valve is constantly loosing heat to radiator.
